Reblog with your chinese zodiac animal year
I am the year of the rooster (1993)
I’m A Dog (82, as I was born before Chinese New Year in 83) as is my daughter (06). My son’s a Monkey (04) and the wife’s a Rat (84). I can’t remember all the other parts (inner, true and secret) but I know I’m a Water Dog and my daughter’s a Fire Dog. The wife is a Wood Rat, and my son’s a Wood Monkey.

Google thinks I’m a senior citizen. Based on the websites you visit and the stuff you search for, Google infers your interests, age and gender, in order to show you more relavent ads (digression: It does this, in part, by having partner websites place a cookie on your computer; more on that…
It has me as an 18-24 male. So, not bad!

Science changes so frequently it is impossible to keep up with everything they say today versus everything they say a week from now. You’re entitled to your opinion but I do not agree.
Science, you guys, it moves SO FAST that there’s no way we can know the difference between a ball made up of several hundred cells and a full grown baby.

“Hey! Let’s piss off the internet by threatening to nuke the internet via a censorship bill! It’ll be hilarious, you guys!”
No one in their right mind would say that, right?
Oh… wait.

Now we begin working on ACTA…

Wednesday 11th January: Cameron calls for tighter focus from UK’s film industry funding
In which David Cameron urges for Lottery funding for the UK film industry to be spent on projects that will boost the appeal of filming in the UK for major studios, and to back more mainstream hits.

Not blacking down: why is SOPA so bad?
So, the day of blacking out in protest is pretty much up in the UK. I still see a lot of confusion. So, why is SOPA so bad?
Well, let’s start with the simplest element: what does it do?
In short, any site displaying a copyrighted material the rights holder did not agree to can be taken down/ISPs ordered to route around/seized by the FBI and other such law enforcement agencies. So far so...

It is absolutely hilarious watching them post shit like this. It’s like watching a Republican Presidential candidate trying to maintain their integrity, or listening to Nickelback talk about how great their new album is.
Is Special K falling apart without Crecente? Has the madness finally taken them all? It sure as fuck seems that way.
Kotaku comments are the 4chan forums emptied...

Aaargh. AAAAAAAAAAAARGH.
So, they did it. They finally crossed the line.
I had to watch the news at my mum’s house, and now I want to shoot all MPs. Two news stroies, back to back:
Gove: ICT is dull, we should make it better
Cameron: UK film industry should back more “commercially successful pictures”
Now, ignoring the idiocy of saying “hey, you should put more money into success”...

Rick Santorum voices support for assassination of nuclear scientists. “…I’m hopeful that some of the things we’re seeing with respect to their [Iran] nuclear program that the U.S. is involved in. Which is, on occasion, scientists working on the nuclear program in Iran turn up dead. I think that’s a wonderful thing. …And if people...

Homecoming, bittersweet homecoming.
So, I’ve been back in Bradford for nigh on 3 months now. Enough time for both good and bad things to have reared their head…
To start with the good, there’s a simple one: familiarity. I know the areas, the lingo, and as such if I want to find something, I know where to look.
I’m also closer to family. I see a LOT more of everyone now, which is nice. I see my siblings...

I have met some very, very awesome people on the internet.
A lot of the coolest people I have met were net first, and in some cases, net only.
