So, I noticed the other day whilst wistfully prodding the internet for an affordable, HDMI-using DVD upscaler that BD players are pretty darn cheap right now; this one’s only £60, for instance, and I’ve seen second hand ones even cheaper. Thing is, I still never see or hear of any sales of the standalone players, just PS3s, despite these prices. Why? Well, actually, I know why.

A second Xmas for gamers: Why E3 matters
