Ban this sick filth: the problems on net filtering
So, as I put on Facebook, the UK government wants to universally bar all adult content on the internet. Basically, the idea is to get ISPs to filter out pornographic content as standard, with an opt out clause for those who want access.
Now, my issues with this are many, but I’ll try and keep the list short and to the point:

So, I now have a second blog on this account - Culturally Awkward. This is the blog that has hung like the sword of Damocles itself over me, the blog of how utterly detached from pop culture the people around me are. It has had… teething troubles. I will now seek to explain.

So, for a while now, on the quiet, I’ve been thinking about diversifying a little on here.
Basically, I’ve talked, with Sam, about how frustrating I find her lack of pop culture awareness of certain areas: the 80s, horror films, that sort of thing. I also at random come out with some pretty mental stuff, and she’s said both need blogging.

Inception Perception: watching a film, interacting...
So, tonight I played with a concept: using a hashtag (in this case #inceppercep) to collate my thoughts on something in real time to allow me to blog it in entirety later. And it worked! So here, collected, is my Inception Perception blogpost!
